I worked with Rosie to create a brand identity for her new holistic and hypnotherapy business.
Response Therapies is a holistic and hypnotherapy business that focuses on helping people (mainly women 35+) overcome emotional & physical difficulties so that they can heal and live a life true to them.
It’s a caring and trustworthy business that offers a safe space without judgment.
Although Rosie will use a framework, she will also adjust each session to the individual and offer a unique and intuitive service.
After a session, clients can expect to feel freer and calmer than before, and excited about the transformation and peace it will bring them.
The logo design
We had a meeting (IRL) and had a chat over Rosies business, her goals and bash about ideas.
We decided that the brand personality should be friendly and caring and should look and feel calming and peaceful, similar to how a client will feel after a session.
The logo design is made up of a ‘tangle’ with a butterfly emerging from it.
It uses a modern font to emulate the modern and scientific approach of hypnotherapy whilst the butterfly flying away from a tangle (whether it’s mind or muscular) represents the feeling of freedom clients feel after being ‘unravelled’.
The flight of the butterfly is joined to the tangled ‘o’ linking the two together and showing the journey a client can make (also shown by the butterfly facing forwards rather than looking back into the past).
Logo suite
I created a variety of logos in different formats so that they’ll fit no matter where they’re used.
Colour palette
I chose a series of colours that are soothing and calming and create a feeling of trust with customers.
Brand assets
The brand assets are elements that can be used alongside the logo, fonts and colours to strengthen and support a brand.
For Response Therapies, I wanted to exaggerate that feeling of untangling and feeling calm.
A series of ‘squiggles’ that represent the untangling of mind and muscle a client experiences
A stylised speech bubble in a hand drawn effect to symbolise the talking involved in hypnotherapy. The hand drawn effect is softer and feels more approachable and friendly
A series of shapes in the style of ‘waves’ bring a calming and soothing energy to the design
