About me

I’m Traci, the strategic graphic designer behind Design-ology.

I create sales and learning materials for service-based businesses who need more than just “pretty designs”…they need materials that win contracts, position them as premium, and actually help people learn.

Why my approach is different

I don’t just make things look professional – I make them work strategically.

Every design decision I make is aligned to three things: your business goals, your audience needs, and your brand positioning.

That means your sales materials don’t just look polished, they pre-qualify leads, position you as premium, and give potential clients confidence to say yes.

Your learning materials are designed using learning science so participants actually retain and apply what you teach.

Pretty matters, but only when it’s working alongside strategy, psychology, and purpose.

My experience and skills

I’ve always been creative…my mum found me scribbling on her walls when I was little.

That creative drive led me through a GNVQ in Art & Design and a Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design, giving me the technical foundations that still underpin everything I create today.

I’ve worked everywhere from global publishers like Dorling Kindersley to small family-run design agencies, which taught me how to create materials that work at every level.

I set up as a freelancer in November 2019, and I’ve spent five years working with business coaches to understand what actually drives business growth.

Additional qualifications

I’ve also got qualifications in Google Analytics, Level 3 Digital Marketing, and Instructional Design.

This mix of formal design training, marketing knowledge, and learning science means I understand not just how to make your materials look credible, but how to make them convert, command premium pricing, and deliver genuine learning outcomes.

I work using my signature B.R.A.N.D Framework which is a strategic approach that takes the guesswork out of design decisions and ensures every element serves your business goals.

A bit about life outside design

I’m a single parent to two teenagers (send help), owned by two tortoiseshell cats, and you’ll often find me walking through forests or doing Pilates to manage scoliosis and two herniated discs.

Balance matters…in design and in life.
