The brief in detail

A detailed sales brochure brochure design created for people in the arts & heritage and museum sector. A helpful guide jam-packed full of information on humidity as well as a detailed buying section.

What was needed

Novatron Scientific needed a brochure created that they could either send a physical copy or by email digitally to prospective customers.

The sales team also use it during meetings to discuss areas of concern with their clients.

The client wanted to explain in detail the effect of humidity on art, give examples of case studies and make sure all information was beautifully displayed in a logical and easy to understand design.

It needed to be clear, concise and full of helpful information that would enable a reader to make an educated buying decision.

The main function of the guide was to provide information to prospective customers at the beginning of their buying journey.

The business goal for Novatron Scientific was to guide a reader to make an appointment with a member of the Novatron Sales Team which would eventually result in a purchase.

What I did

Using the supplied text (and some images) I created a 32 page guide that was easy to navigate and understand.

I took the text and broke it down into manageable sections, styling it using a hierarchy of headings, sub-headings and pull out quotes to put the text into a logical order that’s easy to skim.

I sourced suitable images on stock websites to fill in any gaps and created detailed infographics to show off key features of products.

I also suggested and created additional images that I thought may be useful such as graphs, diagrams and 3D examples to show information visually.

I also organised professional printing of the brochure, on a beautiful soft touch silk paper which makes the colours in the images really vibrant and eye-catching.

The paper feels subtly expensive and high quality giving off a subliminal message of professionalism and expertise.
