A beautiful selection of social media banners for use across Facebook and LinkedIn for Business Coach and Mentor Nicole Winer.
Nicole was struggling with her current designs as she had been spending hours fiddling about in Canva trying to create a series of banners that reflected her and her business.
She was fed up with them not working properly across mobiles and desktops and was frustrated as she felt she had more important things to be getting on with.
What I did
In my popular Design Boost Service, I take existing designs and give them a revamp.
I created templates and made sure that they were responsive (so that they work on a mobile, laptop and web browser) so that any important info didn’t get lost behind her profile photo.
I made sure that the most important information was visible no matter what device it was viewed on.
Sometimes I had to decide which information wouldn’t matter so much if it was overlapped by Nicole’s profile photo or cropped depending on the platform and device.
This could be things like her photo because she already had one set as her main profile picture so it wasn’t the end of the world if a second one was obscured slightly.
I also adapted them so that they were suitable for each different platform and who they were aimed at.
For instance, Nicole’s personal Facebook profile is a lot more fun and less ‘businessey’ as it’s more informal.
Whereas her LinkedIn one is intentionally more business like.
Although the feel was slightly different for each platform, I made sure her branding was consistent throughout by using the same colours and fonts.
This meant that her branding was instantly recognisable no matter where the banners were being used.
I created all the templates in Canva so that Nicole is able to edit and update them as and when she needs to.
It was an absolute privilege working on these, I can’t wait to see them all in action!
