From DIY Slides to Professional Training Delivery
Transformed disconnected PowerPoint slides into a cohesive learning experience that positions a 20-year HR professional as the credible expert she is when delivering sensitive workplace training.

Project overview
Frances delivers sexual harassment workshops to hospitality businesses such as hotels, pub groups, and restaurants.
She’d created her own slides but felt they didn’t reflect her expertise or the seriousness of the topic.
When she tried using PowerPoint’s AI tools for help, things got even more confusing.
Every suggestion created disconnected pages with no visual consistency.
She needed materials that would give her confidence when delivering challenging content to paying corporate clients who expected polish and professionalism.
What I created
A complete workshop presentation restructured from text-heavy documents into visual, bite-sized learning sections.
Working with Frances’s existing brand elements (logo, colours, fonts), I created:

Custom icon sets in brand colours to make complex frameworks instantly scannable.

Visual diagrams breaking down legal definitions and decision-making processes.

Colour-coded comparison slides with clear visual indicators.

Strategic use of stylised stock imagery to create breathing room and professional polish.
Considered design
The challenge wasn’t just making slides look nice, it was ensuring Frances’s materials matched her professional credibility when delivering to corporate clients who expect polished slides.
I restructured dense information across multiple slides with clear focal points, so workshop participants could focus on understanding sensitive content rather than reading paragraphs of text.
Every design choice supported learning outcomes while positioning Frances as the seasoned professional her corporate clients expect.
The result
Frances now delivers her workshops with confidence, knowing her materials match her expertise.
The professional, cohesive presentation supports her when tackling sensitive topics, while the clear visual structure helps participants absorb complex information without feeling overwhelmed.
Her materials now reinforce her credibility from the first slide, giving her confidence to focus on delivering the important work she does in the hospitality sector.
