A gentle and nurturing rebrand for TPC who support young people in education & care.
Why a rebrand?
Shahana & Duwayne from TPC had an existing logo but felt that it was time for a rebrand because:
- They felt the company had outgrown the logo, even though they had a personal attachment to it, they felt it didn’t represent the services that they offer
- They want to be known as the go-to company in their industry and wanted a new look to attract their ideal customers
- They wanted to look professional, be confident with their company and fall back in love with it
The process
Because TPC’s business had evolved so much and they wanted to offer new and exciting services, it was best to start from scratch and take a look at the business from the ground up. This involved looking into their ‘why, their mission and what goals TPC want to achieve in the next 5 years.
This process gave a solid foundation to the brand from which I was able to start creating a powerful and strong message.
TPC’s Brand personality

A brand’s personality is an element of the brand identity. It can be expressed through its tone of voice, communication style, and behaviours.
It’s how your customers think of you and how they feel when they interact with your business.
I gave TPC it’s own personality, to help bring the brand to life, give it a voice and a consistent message and tone.
The language is soft, caring, connective, intuitive, informal.
TPC give people time and space to digest information without bombarding them with complex terminology or jargon.
They use kind, gentle words and phrases.
They’re encouraging, and positive.
The new logo design

The logo for TPC has been designed to reflect the brands compassionate and supportive personality.
A dandelion has been chosen because they represent resiliency, determination and an ability to overcome challenges. These are similar traits to what both the children and adults that work with TPC experience.
The illustration is soft and compassionate whilst the circular text flows organically around the dandelion, bringing a playful and friendly element to the design.

The logo suite
It’s important that a logo is responsive and can be used in a variety of different spaces.
That’s why variations of a logo have been created, so that they can fit into any space without being distorted.

Fonts
Having a set of consistent fonts for a business is crucial because it sets the tone of the brand.
Using consistent typography across your brand will make you recognisable and memorable.
The fonts for TPC mirror the brands friendly and approachable personality.
They’ve been chosen to pair perfectly with each other as well as the brand identity

Colour palette
Calming and relaxing colours were chosen to match TPC’s therapeutic classroom colour schemes which are purposely designed to be calm, sympathetic and help the children feel safe.

Brand assets
Assets are an exciting element to a brand. This is where you can bring in your brand personality and create a memorable experience.
It’s also an effective way to build brand recognition that carries through your business’ physical presence and helps you maintain cohesive branding.
Flowers & fauna
Flowers, fauna and nature represent TPC’s nurturing personality and how children can grow after receiving TPC’s support.

Silhouettes
Silhouettes of people bring a human and personable touch to the branding.

The brand in action
When assets are combined with the logo, colours and fonts, something truly magical happens.
Everything works together to create a strong and memorable brand that connects with your audience and is instantly recognisable.
