The design
I chose a Serif font (which has the tops and tails) to give a more traditional impression but still creates an air of sophistication.
I wanted to add a flourish to the font to add a touch of elegance. I modified the ‘L’ and increased it’s size so it’s larger than the rest of the text, to create a striking focal point and extended the loop of the ‘L’ and the tail to make it unique and memorable.

Emblem creation
I created an emblem that can work alongside the logo or on it’s own. It symbolises a Damask pattern that is used frequently on contemporary wallpaper and gives a nod to the luxury finish a customer can expect.
If you look closely, you’ll see that I’ve incorporated a paintbrush into the design to represent the painting services offered by Luxury Interiors.

Logo Suite
I created a logo suite which contains a collection of logos in different layouts so that my customer has a selection to use and that they’ll always have a logo that fits the correct space of where it’s being used.
You’ll see that I have created a series of logo’s in different ‘shapes’ so that some are circular, square or rectangular.

Fonts
I’ve used two fonts that compliment each other and match the high-quality and sophisticated service that Luxury Interiors deliver.

Colour palette
Speaking to my client during our Kick-Off Call, we decided that we wanted to stand out from the crowd with a slightly unusual colour palette.
I chose a deep royal blue that suggests luxury and matched it with a vibrant rust colour that really pops against the dark tones and brings interest and a modern feeling to the colours.
I also chose several complementary colours that can be used as accents across their branding where more colours may be needed.

Mockups
In a branding project, I find it helps my clients visualise their logo in practise by creating some mockups of where they’ll be used.
In this case, Luxury Interiors may need branded work wear, van signage or business cards so by creating these it can help to see what they look like in real life scenarios.
